Madison Police believe their person of interest in a Monday murder has fled the country.
Police yesterday said 37-year-old Jose Duenas-Quinonez made it out of the country with his six-year-old daughter. Investigators say Duenas-Quinonez may have killed the little girl’s mother at a shopping center on Madison’s southwest side Monday afternoon. Police quickly identified Duenas-Quinonez as a person of interest, but say they never caught-up with him. It’s not clear just where Duenas-Quinonez fled to.
