There was a standing ovation for a fallen Milwaukee police officer at the Brewers game last night.
The team honored Officer Peter Jerving. He was killed in the line of duty back in February. Last night, the Brewers displayed his picture, hosted his family, and had Jerving’s nephew throw out the first pitch. Jerving was a longtime Brewer fan, and his friends say he would have loved the honor. Jerving’s parents accepted the Brewers Hometown Champion Award.
