More layoffs are coming to 3M.
The Twin Cities based company says it’s laying off six-thousand workers worldwide, saving the company up to 900-million dollars. 3M has four plants in Wisconsin and it’s unclear how or if operations will be affected. Today’s announcement comes alongside a sales report detailing a nine percent drop in sales compared to this quarter last year and a 25 percent drop in net income.
