Nate Bell is Sister Bay’s new village president because he rolled a six.
Bell and incumbent village president Rob Zoschke finished Election Day tied at 256 votes a-piece. The clerk decided that a roll of the dice would be the tiebreaker. Zoschke rolled a two, then Bell rolled a six. Wisconsin law allows for all manner of election tiebreakers, some communities use a coin flip, while others draw a name out of a hat, or draw straws.
