It is the latest sign of just how many people paid attention to Wisconsin’s race for the Supreme Court.
The state’s Elections Commission yesterday said turnout for Tuesday Election Day was nearly 40 percent. Officially 39-point-34 percent of voters cast a ballot in this week’s election. That’s a record for a spring election that was not held at the same time as a presidential primary, as was the case back in 2019. Unofficial results say just over one-point-eight million people voted in Tuesday’s election.
