Washburn Co. Continues Decades Long Investigation

Today is the 27-year anniversary of the disappearance of teenager Sara Bushland.

She was last seen in Spooner in 1996 getting off the school bus at her home on County Highway E.  Investigators first thought she was a runaway but the investigation later turned to the possibility of foul play.  The Washburn County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the case and wants anyone with information to call them or the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
