Tornados Hit Southern Part of State News | April 3, 2023 | 0 | by Morgan McCarthy The National Weather Service says Wisconsin’s Friday night tornado count stands at nine. Forecasters say the line of storms that cut across the southern part of the state Friday dropped twisters in Walworth County, Rock County, Green County, Dane County, Jefferson County. Walworth County saw three tornadoes, while Green and Rock counties saw two each. Only two of the tornadoes were EF1s, which means they had wind speeds over 80 miles-per-hour. There are no reports of any serious injuries or deaths, though there was plenty of damage.
