A suspect in the cold case murder of a man from Cypress is in custody.
Sixty-three-year-old Kelvin Keith Emmons from De Pere, Wisconsin, was arrested earlier this month, charged with murder in the 1988 death of Angel Martinez. Martinez’s body was discovered in Arizona on June 20th, 1988, two weeks after his wife had reported him missing. Emmons is now awaiting extradition to San Bernardino County where he will be tried for Martinez’s death.
