UW System Announces Proposed Tuition Raises News | March 18, 2023 | 0 | by Morgan McCarthy The University of Wisconsin System on Friday released more details of a proposal to raise tuition and fees for the 2023-24 school year. Earlier this month, President Jay Rothman announced plans to raise tuition and fees by about five-percent to keep up with inflation and make sure the UW System remains, as Rothman put it, “financially sustainable.” If approved, tuition and fees would range from less than 83-hundred dollars at UW-Green Bay to more than eleven-thousand-200 dollars at the flagship UW-Madison. The Board of Regents is set to consider the proposal during its meeting March 30th and 31st.
