More Cinderella teams are coming from behind in college basketball’s March Madness.
Three upsets highlighted NCAA Tournament action on Friday. One of those teams made the record books. Fairleigh Dickinson is just the second 16-seed in NCAA history to win in the tournament, after shocking top-seeded Purdue, 63-58 in Columbus. Eleventh-seeded Pittsburgh pulled off an upset over sixth-seeded Iowa State 59-41, while ninth-seeded FAU sent Penny Hardaway and Memphis home with a 66-65 win over the Tigers. The action continues on Saturday with the Round of 32.
