Wisconsin’s most progressive lawmakers are ready to try again with their Economic Justice Bill Of Rights.
A group of Democratic lawmakers and progressive groups will be at the Capitol today to demand everything from an equitable, living-income and livelihood to a right to a union to a fair and equitable justice system. The same group of progressive lawmakers and groups first introduced their plan back in 2021, and again last year. It has failed to gain any traction at the statehouse, and is not expected to go anywhere this year either.
