There will be just one debate in Wisconsin’s race for Supreme Court.
Judge Janet Protasiewicz yesterday agreed to appear at the debate hosted by the State Bar of Wisconsin and a Madison TV station on March 21st. She has declined invitations to at least five other debates. Protasiewicz’s campaign says they know the State Bar’s reputation for debates in the past. Conservative candidate Dan Kelly’s campaign says it is ‘outrageous’ that Protasiewicz won’t answer questions about her record on the bench, or her promise to ‘put a thumb on the scale’ for certain cases.
