Eli Lilly Announces Price Reduction

The White House is applauding Eli Lilly for capping insulin costs. 

Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said it’s important progress toward lowering healthcare costs for all Americans.  The drugmaker announced it will cap out-of-pocket costs for its most popular insulin products at 35-dollars per month.  The price cut is something President Biden has been pushing pharmaceutical companies to do.   The Inflation Reduction Act caps insulin costs at 35-dollars for seniors on Medicare.
