Sturgeon season ended yesterday in Wisconsin.
The state’s Department of Natural Resources says fishermen on Lake Winnebago grabbed over 11 hundred sturgeon this year. The biggest issue wasn’t the fish, it was the weather. The DNR says a warm start to the season, followed by a snowstorm last week made for tricky conditions on and off the ice.
