Center For Black Excellence And Culture Progresses

Center For Black Excellence And Culture Progresses

The Center For Black Excellence And Culture that’s planned for Madison’s south side is just 13-million dollars short of the 36-million it needs to break ground.

Founder Dr. Alexander Gee said on Friday he’s confident the center will reach that goal by the end of this year and bring ground in the spring of 2024.  The center to be built on West Badger Road in the historically Black South Park Street neighborhood will include space for visual and performing arts, co-working, health and wellness, and cultural education.
