An investigation’s underway after an inmate at the Rock County Jail in Janesville dies overnight.
The sheriff’s office says a woman was found dead in her cell around 1:15 this morning. The woman hasn’t been identified and the sheriff’s office says right now there’s no evidence of how she died. An autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow.
