Lawmakers in Madison are taking another look at so-called forever chemicals.
A State Senate panel will hold a hearing tomorrow on new regulations for PFAS chemicals. Those are chemicals commonly found in firefighting foam that environmentalists worry are polluting soil and water in the state. Wisconsin currently doesn’t have any regulations for PFAS pollution. Setting those standards is one of Governor Evers’ top priorities.
