Opening arguments are set to begin today in the second trial of a Kenosha man accused of poisoning his wife back in 1998.
A jury was selected in Mark Jensen’s trial yesterday. He was originally convicted of killing his wife, but the Wisconsin Supreme Court ordered in 2021 that he be given a new trial. Prosecutors will have to get a conviction this time without a letter from his wife that said if anything happened to her, that police should assume Jensen did it.
