The sheriff in Buffalo County says a tanker wreck could have been worse.
The sheriff says the tanker rolled down a steep hill and landed in a ditch Saturday morning. Deputies say the truck couldn’t make it up the slick road on County Highway KK, slid backwards, then rolled down the hill. The driver was the only person in the truck, and wasn’t injured. No one is saying just what was inside the tank at the time.
