Pictures of the Simply Scandinavian Gift Shop are all over the internet. Maybe you’ve seen the pictures?

The little shop in Gills Rock, in Door County became internet famous this week because it was coated in ice after Christmas Eve’s winter storm. The small shop was coated with icicles and a thick layer of ice on everything but the front door. The store shared the pictures on its Facebook page, and people have been clicking on them ever since. Some folks are even looking to visit in-person, but Door County leaders say Highway 42 is still a little tough to get across because of the ice and winter weather.
