It’s not just that the final family has moved from the Foxconn site in Mount Pleasant, they took their home with them.
Kim and Jim Mahoney agreed to move their home as part of a one million-dollar deal to leave the area near the Foxconn plant. The Mahoney’s are moving their home five miles up the road. They stayed for four years, even as the rest of the homes in their neighborhood were torn down. The hope is to deliver the home to its new home by tomorrow, though it’ll be a little while before the Mahoneys will be able to move back in.
