A high of 20 degrees is hardly warm, but after a sub-zero weekend across southeast Wisconsin 20 will feel warm enough.
The National Weather Service says most counties will emerge from the deep-freeze this week. By Wednesday, forecasters are talking about a high or nearly 40. Thursday’s high is expected to be 50 degrees.
You can put your thermostat back at 68. We Energies on Saturday ended its request for people to lower their thermostats in order to save natural gas. We Energies first made the request Friday after an equipment issue with a pipeline in Oklahoma.
That equipment issue cut the supply of natural gas, and had We Energies asking for a bit of help. The utility says the request was ‘unprecedented.’
