The tally from Monday’s shooting in Kenosha is one dead, three wounded.
Police there say the gunman is the one who died. The shooting happened near 13th Avenue and 56th Street about 8:30 Monday night. Kenosha Police say it started as a hostage situation, but escalated once the suspect started shooting at officers. Police burst into the gunman’s home, but it’s unclear if the gunman took his own life or was shot by officers.
