DNR Approves PFAS Chemicals Regulation

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources Board approves new regulations for PFAS chemicals in Wisconsin groundwater. 

The regulations create standards for how much PFAS chemicals are allowed in groundwater before it’s deemed unsafe.  Other chemicals will also be considered dangerous under the regulations.  Anyone found guilty of contaminating groundwater with PFAS chemicals could also now face consequences.
