The University of Wisconsin is ending in-person classes at one of its smallest campuses.
The school yesterday ordered the chancellor at UW-Platteville to end the degree program at the university’s Richland campus. Just 60 students are taking classes at Richland right now, next year they will all be transitioned to the Platteville campus. The UW is not closing the campus, there’s some talk about using it to offer enrichment programs or adult education. No one is saying what will happen to the faculty and staff members teaching at the Richland campus.
