Dane County is ready to spend another three-quarters of a million-dollars on opioid awareness.
County Executive Joe Parisi announced the plan on Friday. The money will pay for more Narcan and fentanyl test strips, as well as new lessons for school kids on the dangers of opioids and fentanyl. The county is also looking to hire a new prevention coordinator at the OutReach LGBTQ+ Community Center.
