University of Wisconsin Health is issuing a warning to outdoorsmen about a toxic fungus that could be in the air.
Blastomycosis develops when a person breaths in air from a certain fungus that’s common in Wisconsin, especially up north. UW Health says blastomycosis infection usually leads to flu-like symptoms, but there are sometimes more serious cases.
