It’s 18-years in prison for the man who admitted to last year’s drunk driving crash that killed three teenagers in Middleton.
A judge yesterday sentenced 31-year-old Eric Mehring to just under 20 years in prison as part of a plea deal. He originally faced 75-years behind bars. Mehring admitted that he was drunk on October 2nd of last year when he rear-ended the teens’ car on Mineral Point Road. Investigators say he was three times the legal limit at the time of the crash.
