They want to go wet in the Town of Stanford.
Voters in the small Barron County town approved a referendum on selling alcohol last night. The town is one of the few dry communities left in Wisconsin. The hope is to open a tap room at Licks Orchard. The vote, however, is advisory only.
Town leaders will have to vote again if they want to allow for alcohol sales.
