Oh, Deer! Plans Move Forward For Deer District

Plans for a new live music venue in the Deer District are one step closer to reality.

A Milwaukee common council committee yesterday okayed the zoning changes for the new venue. The full council will vote on the plan next week. There continues to be stiff opposition to the plan, many of Milwaukee’s other live music venues say they don’t need any more competition. Live Nation and the Bucks are driving the effort for the new venues.
