It looks like there will be a guilty plea in the 2008 murder of a UW-Madison student.
Lawyers for David Kahl have asked for a plea hearing this week. He was arrested back in 2020 after his DNA matched a sample from Brittany Zimmermann’s murder. She was stabbed and strangled in her campus apartment. Kahl originally pleaded not guilty in the case, though he did tell investigators that he was high on crack on the day that Zimmermann died.
