Eau Claire Schools will spend about 15 million-dollars more in the next school year.
The city’s school board is set to approve its new spending plan later today. The 187 million-dollar budget is 15 million larger than last year. It includes a four-point-seven percent raise for teachers. Eau Claire Schools say the school’s tax rate goes down in this budget, but because of higher home prices the school district will see more in property tax money in the new spending plan.
