A judge is not stopping Milwaukee from partnering with an outside group to get out the vote this November.
A judge on Friday said she found no evidence that Milwaukee’s work with a progressive/Democratic firm favors one party or another. The judge said the city’s mayor has a right to promote the idea of voting. Republicans sued Milwaukee over the program, saying it’s inappropriate for a non-partisan city office to work with such a biased, political firm to get people to vote.
