Wausau Distribution Center Announces Layoffs

There are layoffs coming in Wausau at the Footlocker distribution center. 

Eastbay-Footlocker yesterday said it is closing its distribution center by the spring of next year.  The company said the move will “optimize distribution processes in order to serve their nationwide customers more efficiently and effectively.”  The company says 210 people will lose their jobs when the center closes.  Footlocker has been a staple in Wausau for the past 40 years.
