There are charges coming after a weekend standoff with an armed suspect in Barron County.
The sheriff’s office had to call in its Emergency Response Team to arrest 27-year-old Devin Baldwin Sunday evening. He was drunk when police say he holed-up in his home in Cumberland. It took tear gas and some beanbag rounds to finally get Baldwin under control. Baldwin was on probation for a similar situation in 2020 when he threatened to kill officers and fired a gun.
Baldwin is in jail and waiting for formal charges.
