“If these walls could talk…”
We often think about the stories held inside the rooms we live in, and for this week’s Friday Feel Good we get to peek inside of those stories and see a moment preserved in time and the story that a purse had to tell. Officials in Texas found a small purse from the 1950s inside the walls at a former school building and they have now identified the owner.
The contractor who found it, Armando Rodriguez, and League of Historical Society Vice President, Richard Lewis, talked about all of the historically significant items found inside and the surprise they had as they looked through those items.
What may have been a purse decades ago acts more like a time capsule today, and reminds us that there are stories all around waiting to be told.
