There’s a lot of listening about tax increases in Eau Claire this fall.
Eau Claire Schools held their latest listening session last night for their nearly 100 million-dollar referendum. Voters will decide in November whether to raise taxes and pay for upgrades at several Eau Claire schools. The district says South Middle School, where the listening session was held, will be one of the biggest beneficiaries of the tax hike. The city of Eau Claire is also pushing a tax increase this fall, city leaders hosted their listening sessions earlier this week.
