It may be one of the last endorsements in Wisconsin’s race for governor.
The state’s Tavern League yesterday endorsed Republican Tim Michels. The Tavern League has over five thousand members across the state. The League yesterday blasted Governor Tony Evers for closing bars and restaurants during the early days of the coronavirus outbreak. Michels said he understands the League’s troubles because he’s a businessman too. The Tavern League endorsed Rebecca Kleefisch in the Republican Primary instead of Michels.
