The suspect in last weekend’s kidnapping of a 15-year-old in Chippewa County is being held on a million-dollars bond.
A judge yesterday ordered 22-year-old Trevor Blackburn held in the Chippewa County Jail. Prosecutors haven’t yet filed formal charges. The sheriff’s office is expecting kidnapping and sexual assault charges in the case. Deputies say Blackburn drove from Tennessee to Holcombe to snatch her after she stopped talking to him online.
