There could be new rules coming for poll watchers in Wisconsin, but not in time for Election Day.
The Wisconsin Elections Commission yesterday voted to begin the process to write new rules for the people who keep an eye on poll workers on Election Day. The process, though, could take as much as two years.
Commission members say they want to look at how election observers can interact with people at the polls, and what kind of access they are allowed to have.
