Senator Ron Johnson says he’s “willing to participate” in three debates with Lieutenant Governor Mandela Barnes.

Johnson’s campaign said Friday the two-term Republican is willing to take part in up to three debates with his Democratic challenger in a race that’s rated a toss-up. The campaign said Johnson has accepted debate invitations from the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association, WTMJ-TV, and WISN-TV. The Barnes campaign said on Friday it has accepted an invitation for a debate hosted by WTMJ-TV on October 13th.
