The National Weather Service alerts those in southeast Wisconsin of the probability of flash flooding.
As of late last night seven or more inches of measurable rainfall was registered in Racine County alone. The NWS advises those living in the region to still take precautions on roadways despite the fact that a Flood Warning expired this morning at 3 a.m. The warning covered Kenosha, Milwaukee, Racine, Walworth and Waukesha counties. Flood conditions are expected in urban areas as well as rivers, streams and low lying terrain in the affected region.
