The suspect in July’s deadly stabbing on the Apple River is headed for trial.
A judge in St. Croix County on Friday ruled that there is enough evidence to take 52-year-old Nicholas Miu to trial. Miu is accused of killing a teenager and slashing or stabbing four others during a fight earlier this summer.
The defense says the teens attacked Miu, but prosecutors say Miu was armed and didn’t do anything to deescalate the situation. Miu is facing first degree homicide charges, he’d due back in court on Thursday.
