State prosecutors are bringing voter fraud charges against the Racine County man who says he committed voter fraud to prove a point.
The state’s Department of Justice yesterday filed formal charges against Harry Wait. Wait admitted to asking for Assembly Speaker Robin Vos and Racine Mayor Corey Mason’s ballot before the August primary. He says he wanted to show how easy it is to commit voter fraud in the state’s MyVote system. Wisconsin’s attorney general said the charges show that his office is serious about election integrity.
