We now have more information about an incident in Menomonie.
On August 30, 2022, the Menomonie Police Department with the assistance of the Eau Claire Regional SWAT Team attempted to serve a search warrant at the residence of Michael Polzin, 18025 th St. W. #6.
Polzin also had an active arrest warrant. Following a lengthy standoff, Polzin was apprehended without further incident.
There is no threat to the community.
