A former supervisor at the state prison in Sturtevant is looking at sex charges for her relationship with an inmate.
Prosecutors in Racine County yesterday filed formal charges against 37-year-old Jacqueline Heidt. Investigators say she had sex with an inmate at least three times per-week between April and last week. She’s a licensed social worker and has been at the prison since 2010. She is looking at sexual assault and misconduct charges. Her lawyer says her relationship was romantic and consensual, it’s only illegal because she works at the prison.
