A new report says public sector workers in Wisconsin quit at a record rate last year.
The Wisconsin Policy Forum’s report says more than 17 thousand public employees quit last year. That is on top of the eight thousand or so who retired. The report doesn’t say just who quit their jobs, but the Policy Forum says teachers likely led the way because there are more teachers than any other kind of public sector workers. The report says burnout was one of the main reasons why people left their jobs last year.
