Nurses at UW Health say they’re ready to walk off the job to get their union recognized.
Hundreds of nurses with UW yesterday voted for a three day strike next month in order to get the hospital to accept their unionization plans. The union says 99 percent of nurses voted in favor of the strike. The nurses and the hospital have been talking about a union, and a new contract for months. The strike is set to begin on Tuesday, September 13th.
