The demand for healthy, safe, and sober housing for those facing difficult situations, addictions, and
homelessness is greatly increasing in the Chippewa Valley. As a result, Hope Gospel Mission is
outgrowing the Short Stay living space of the Hope Renewal Center for Men. The Short Stay Program
provides a stable environment as residents work towards procuring safe housing, stable employment, and
a workable budget.

In order to meet this increasing need, Hope Gospel Mission has decided to construct a $380,000 addition
to the short stay section of the Hope Renewal Center for Men. This expansion will double the number of
beds, enlarge the bathroom, living room, laundry areas, and provide a new, state of the art, safer modular
bed system. The new sleeping area will provide the space needed to improve social distancing and create
a more private, dignified, and restful environment. A generous donor has agreed to match up to $75,000
and is encouraging community members to give towards this impactful project.

Hope Gospel Mission offers comprehensive, holistic programming to help men, women and women with
children struggling with homelessness and addiction in western Wisconsin. As the need in our region
continues to grow, Hope Gospel Mission desires to be a resource where lives are rescued, rebuilt and
renewed.
