Wauwatosa Schools are moving ahead with a new sex-ed curriculum for kids.
The city’s school board last night approved changes that will teach kids starting in kindergarten about sex, sexual orientations, and gender. Superintendent Demond Means last night said the new lessons are needed as 13 percent of students in Tosa schools now identify themselves with ‘different sexual orientations.’ Some parents aren’t happy with the new lessons, which they say are too graphic and too much for younger students.
